IQOS, as one of the market leaders in tobacco heating devices, announced the introduction of a new generation of devices of this type called ILUMA, which will use induction heating technology. This technology will differ from other IQOS versions by the lack of a pin responsible for heating the tobacco stick.

For proper operation, you will need innovative TEREA sticks, which will be equipped with a special capsule with a metal blade. In this way, the stick, when placed in the heater chamber, will generate a magnetic field, as a result of which the blade will generate the appropriate level of heat for the tobacco mixture. There is only one question left, when exactly will we be able to try the new model of the IQOS ILUMA heater?

When will the IQOS ILUMA device come out?

Unfortunately, the exact release date of the IQOS ILUMA heater is not yet known (as of January 2023). However, it is only a matter of time and we will receive information on this soon. It's best to follow the official IQOS website to learn more about the sale of the new ILUMA model.

Information about the new model of the inductive IQOS ILUMA device

While waiting for the availability of the IQOS ILUMA model in Poland, you can try other smokeless heating devices, including the basic variants of IQOS, LIL SOLID or NEXONE.

What are the differences between the available IQOS models on the market?

The main difference of the new IQOS device will be the construction based on induction technology, thanks to which IQOS will be able to heat two tobacco sticks in a row and you will not have to worry about cleaning it. This is because the new IQOS ILUMA model will use a special stick with a capsule (TEREA), creating a special magnetic field together with the heater chamber. This phenomenon is designed to heat the TEREA stick from the inside, so there will be no problem with used remnants of sticks falling into the inside of the heating chamber.

The basic models of IQOS heaters in their heating chamber have a built-in pin for heating the sticks, therefore, when sticking and removing the sticks, there is a possibility of leaving residues at the bottom of the chamber. However, when it comes to the possibility of heating two sticks one after the other, the IQOS DUO model already available on the market also allows this function.
